Accommodation
The residency accommodation sits within a 1.5‑acre woodland garden — a quiet, sheltered space of moss, birch, and filtered light. It is designed as a place to settle, work, and rest, with immediate access to the textures and rhythms of the surrounding landscape.
The space includes a comfortable bedroom, a dedicated work area, and a small kitchen for preparing meals. Light shifts through the trees throughout the day, creating a gentle, steady atmosphere for writing, listening, editing, or simply thinking. The garden itself offers multiple places to sit, observe, and work outdoors when weather allows.
It is fully self‑contained, allowing residents to work independently and at their own pace. Reliable heating, good natural light, and stable internet make it suitable for a wide range of practices — from field recording and editing to reading, drawing, or planning larger projects.
The woodland garden forms a soft threshold into the wider landscape. From the door, it is a short walk to the temperate rainforest, the shoreline, and the open expanse of Moine Mhòr. The accommodation is intended not as a retreat from the environment, but as a quiet base within it — a place to return to, reflect, and continue working.
